This will be our first season playing 11-a-side.
We have a squad of 20 players. Our main focus this season will be on how we play as units and individual roles in those units.
We will coach by using the 5 lanes theory. 5 lanes when in possession and 3 lanes when out of possession. We will also focus on in-game communications and scanning to better inform each player of the options available to them during a game.
We will mainly play in a 1-3-5-2 formation and look to play into wide areas as we believe this will suit our players and be effective against the teams we will play this season.
We have produced the player profiles so this will help inform our coaching sessions during the season. Each player has been issued their profile and understood their areas for development going forwards.
